What’s a street team?

It’s just an unnecessarily intimidating name for a group of passionate friends and book lovers who want to help promote my books by:

Posting about my books on social media and/or commenting on and sharing my posts.
Adding my books to your Goodreads TBR and lists.
Reviewing my books (after you’ve read them) on Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, and/or your other reading trackers.
Asking your local library and bookstores to order copies.
Passing out bookmarks and other swag to your book-loving friends.
Recommending my books for your next book club.
Helping me brainstorm clever marketing ideas.

That sounds like a lot. Do I have to do ALl of those things?

Nope! You get to pick and choose! I’ll gladly take whatever help I can get!

What are the perks of joining the street team?

First look at the cover, merch, swag, and character art!
Free bookmarks, stickers, temporary tattoos and character art prints, including exclusive items especially for my street team.
Membership to my private Facebook group, The Danzenbookers.
Good odds of receiving an eARC (advance review copy) of my books*.
Entry into a giveaway for a physical copy ARC of Soulmatch**.
Entry into a giveaway for a signed hardback copy of Soulmatch**.
*Pending publisher decisions on number of eARCs and if they’ll do physical copies.

Are there any Guidelines to follow?

I’ll provide my street team with copy, graphics, and swag to make posting and talking about Soulmatch as easy as possible. Please help build excitement by teasing these items until it’s time for the official announcements (ie. don’t spoil the fun!).

I hope this goes without saying, but please do NOT disparage or “review bomb” other authors on my behalf. Those are my friends! We’re all cheering for each other in this very stressful but exciting journey. In fact, I very much encourage you to post about other authors and add their books to your TBRs and reading lists as well!

How would you contact me?

I’m hoping to email my street team about twice a month in the quarter leading up to book launches to provide updates. I’ll post more frequently in the Facebook group. Your physical mailing address will be used to send you free book swag and any prizes you win!
